VOLUNTEER EXAMINER (VE) GROUP

LARA Volunteer Examiner Group

VE Group is composed of individuals that are FCC licensed as Generals or Extras.  Each time a test session is given three of these individuals must be present and the composition is dependent upon whether an person is sitting for the Technician or General or Extra test.

Testing

LARA holds testing sessions prior to the LARA Monthly Meeting (3rd Saturday of each month, except December) at the LARA Clubhouse (11146 Springdale Ave, Leesburg – off of CR 473). VE Testing at ClubhouseTesting begins promptly at 8:00 AM. The meeting starts at 10AM and you are invited to attend. The meeting usually closes around 11-11:15.

You’ll need a government issued photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID Card, etc.) and $15 in cash.  If you are upgrading, please bring your original license along with a copy.

To ensure that we have sufficient VEs of the appropriate license class available, please contact David A. Pennell, np2mr  (352) 602-5164    np2mr@yahoo.com in advance of the meeting.
